The virus has forced cancellation of my coyote safari, but can't stop planning or dreaming about hunts to come. So here's the question: I know lots of guys who always take a shotgun to their set-up for close in shots. I've needed one twice. So, am thinking about buying a dedicated coyote shotgun. The Stoeger came to mind (a friend recommend it). Because they are much less expensive than many others....talking semi-auto here. I liked the looks of the bronze model and it can be had for about $500. Your thoughts please?
BTW, it could also serve as my turkey gun. It comes with a XFT choke tube, which I think means Extra Full Turkey. The XFT would of course be the coyote choice too.
