Anyone have experience with Azula OWB holsters for k frame size revolvers? I'm looking for a holster for a Ruger Speed Six 2.75" barrel which is slightly smaller than the GP100. I want good retention without the gun flopping around. I've got a good gun belt already. I'm not trying to go cheap and considering Galco also.

Is your goal to use an S&W K-Frame holster for a Ruger Speed Six?

Why not buy a holster for the Speed Six? Here are two options.

I dont always carry my Python. When I do, it's in an Azula.
I bought the holster and belt in april 2018. They are very well made. It fits my gun like a glove. They look good too.
I like the Azula belts so well that I bought another for work. They are the only belts that I wear. I wear one of the two every day.
I can vouch for their equality.

Another suggestion would be a Safariland. They are well made too. This model is iwb, I have been impressed with the comfort of carrying a kframe iwb.

Two slot pancake? If it's good enough for your Python I'm sure it will work for my Speed Six. I've heard good things about them before but they're so reasonably priced I figured I'd ask.

I have an Azula OWB for my 4” K-frame. I like it very much. It’s a very good holster for the money.

i liked it so much I went and found an exact replica for my J-frame. It has a bit more retention than i really like, but it is built very well

I have an azula iwb for my sp101, it's really well made and has great fit and retention.

Just received the Azula today for the Speed Six and was impressed with it so I took a photo. The fit is excellent and high quality all the way around. While I was examining the photo I noticed three parallel slices in the leather. I may live with it or contact them. I'm otherwise very pleased with the Azula. IMG_0890.JPG IMG_0893 (2).JPG

Well that’s certainly worth a conversation, if you desire. I might be the guy to chalk it up to natural “imperfections”, but I’d totally see why you’d want to call.
Do you think those marks are deep enough to be problematic once the holster wears in? Or possibly just cosmetic?

Good looking holster, otherwise.

I shot them an email and the photo. I told them I 'd be happy to keep it if they'd stand behind it if it failed at that spot. After reading their lifetime guarantee stating replacement for failure due to manufacturing defects, I'm good. I'm really surprised at the quality of the workmanship, looks and the custom fit. I didn't expect as much as I got for the small investment. It carries the Speed Six very well. Thanks to you guys for steering me(pun intended) to a great leather holster.

I have been looking at getting one of there holster for a G48 and was wondering about how long did it take to get your holster

From initial post to his receipt yesterday was about 6 days.

mine took about 5. What impressed me most was the guy who called from North Carolina the day after I placed my order. He just called to check and make sure the gun and holster were going to match up re:barrel length and frame size. It shipped a couple hours after that.
