IT IS FINALLY HAPPENING! - It is time for Call to Action! SPREAD THE WORD and share this with everyone you know!

We must fight this with eveything we got!

After losing assault weapons ban of 2019, the threat of "Hell yes, we are taking your AR15s and AK47s" has become house bill H.R. 5717 introduced by Hank Johnson (D) and senate bill S.3254 introduced by Elizabeth Warren (D), perhaps hoping to pass them while the public's focus is on coronavirus.

Military Arms Channel: Call to Arms: H.R.5717 Sweeping Gun Ban

  • The bills would require federal license to even "touch" firearms (examine them at gun stores/gun shows)
  • National gun registry
  • 30% tax on all firearms sold
  • 50% tax on all ammunition
  • No more private transfers
  • 7 day mandatory federal waiting period
  • Federal level "Red Flag" provision
  • Age limit raised to 21 for firearms possession
  • 1 gun a month purchase limit
  • Gun safe storage at home requirement
  • Extensive list of firearms (by name) as "Assault Weapons"
  • Ban on private builds/ghost guns - 80% builds banned
  • Ban on "mufflers/silencers"
  • FFLs to implement extensive expensive security measures: Concrete barriers, etc.
  • Background checks
  • Expands "gun free" zones
  • Law enforcement/Military exemptions would continue
  • "Gun violence" issue to be reviewed by law makers (Usually only impact law abiding citizens)
  • Buy back program
  • Removes consumer product safety protection from firearms

The claim: The U.S. House of Rep resentatives introduced an assault weapons ban bill - https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...us-house-bill-ban-assault-weapons/2943913001/
  • Facebook post on the Military Arms Channel is valid.
  • Rep. Hank Johnson, a Georgia Democrat who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, on Jan. 30 introduced H.R. 5717, which would, among other items, ban the purchasing and possession of assault weapons. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., introduced in February the Senate version of the bill, S.3254.
  • The bill addresses background checks, taxes on firearms and goods related to firearms, gun storage, accessibility of guns on school campuses and more.
  • Definition of what constitutes a semiautomatic assault weapon. The bill defines a semiautomatic assault weapon as any firearm with the capability to “accept a detachable magazine” and either a pistol grip, forward grip, grenade launcher, barrel shroud, threaded barrel or a folding, telescoping or detachable stock.
  • The ban has a few exceptions. Law-enforcement officers can possess these firearms as can those who are providing security at nuclear energy facilities. Firearms that are “manually operated by bolt, pump, lever or slide action,” have “been rendered permanently inoperable” or are antique are exempt from the ban as well.
  • The bill has not yet passed the Democrat-controlled House. In order to become law, the Republican-controlled Senate would have to pass it and the president would have to sign it.
  • Just as Johnson's bill has not passed the House, Warren's bill has not passed the Senate.
The claim on the pro-gun Facebook page that an assault weapons ban bill was introduced in the House is TRUE. If passed, H.R. 5717 would ban semiautomatic assault weapons.

Gun Owners of America: NATIONAL ALERTS H.R. 5717: THE END OF THE WORLD FOR GUN OWNERS - https://gunowners.org/na03302020/

"If Anti-gun Democrats Win in November, They’ll Pass H.R. 5717 and Gut the Second Amendment"

Firearms Policy Coalition: Issue - HR 5717/S. 3254 - This year's Gunpocalypse - https://www.firearmspolicy.org/oppose-hr-5717-federal-gunpocalypse

"If you're a gun owner, you literally need to drop everything you're doing right now and oppose this bill.

HR 5717 is the worst anti-gun legislation that FPC has ever seen. It could end gun rights in totality within a generation.

In 2016, we fought hard against a huge surge of anti-gun legislation in California. We dubbed it 'Gunpocalypse.'"

National Rifle Association: Another Massive Gun Grab Bill (Re) Introduced - https://www.nraila.org/articles/20200330/another-massive-gun-grab-bill-re-introduced

"H.R. 5717 includes banning semi-automatic firearms like the AR-15, a federal licensing scheme for all gun purchasers, “universal” background checks, unconstitutional red flag laws, and other anti-gun proposals that have already been introduced. These issues should be familiar, as we have been reporting on them throughout the 116th Congress (please see here, here, here and here). These egregious, over-reaching proposals are part of the Michael Bloomberg gun control play book, all of which would leave law-abiding Americans defenseless during a very critical time.

... In response to the pandemic, some anti-gun lawmakers have deemed gun stores as "non-essential," shut down issuance of firearm permits, and, in some locations, they have created extreme delays for background checks required for firearm transfers. Some jurisdictions have even put added restrictions on firearm transfers, making it all but impossible for many law-abiding Americans to exercise their Second Amendment rights."

Every un-American gun bill imaginable is in H.R. 5717!

Disabled Woman Weak to Coronavirus Issues Message to Politicians Using Pandemic to Push Gun Control - During emergencies and disasters (as clearly demonstrated in recent decades such as hurricanes, floods, riots, etc.) when law enforcement/National Guard cannot maintain law and order, it is up to individual home owners to provide personal protection. Firearms such as ARs/PCCs with larger than pistol capacity magazines give gun owners greater firearms options than pistols. 2A protection must remain to protect ARs/PCCs especially for women, elderly and disabled.

I knew it, I knew it! Somebody tell me which island flipped over????? Oahu right! I told my wife that Honolulu was getting way too heavy!

Often it is the stakes, not the risk.

I have much less confidence than to say, “Ppffft, can’t happen.”
Because it does. It can. It has. And it WILL again.

It must be nice to have faith in man and government to do the right thing.
I have none of that.
Both those things are weak, and insatiate by power.

With the last group of Demo-frat chuckle heads wanting to be chief and communism actually being discussed as “a thing”, and all of them wanting my AR, but not paying for it, this is real. It has been put forth. They ARE considering it.

And if they thought they could do it under the guise of Corona-hysteria, they WOULD. In a heart beat.

Alexander loves to say how gun owners are the most law abiding citizens. If they pass it, why would it not come to be? Are we going to be criminal?
Am I going to shoot the deputy that is my neighbor and friend when he comes to collect?
These forums are covered with what would happen if they did confiscate.
They take your house, money and children first.
Firearms don’t seem so important when the Sheriff you don’t know well, orders your neighbor to take you kids out of your dangerous home.

At gunpoint.

Because, after all, you ARE a criminal. We voted. You lost.

Never happen? You have got to be kidding me...
It’s already happened a bunch.
This is just progressing further down the track.

And if it doesn’t pass, they can blame the fruit loop that thinks islands float...

This is not news. These bills aren't going anywhere this year.

Ain't never happening.

AND HERE COMETH the next corona bill, and, this bill is still a-formin', and is ATTACHED to the corona bill.

Want your next $1trillion dope shot? Take this too without so much as a fresh needle share it GIMME GIMMEGIMME fein'n. GIMME MY FIXX.

Passed without so much as each Rep or Senator looking at it, but accepting their mis-leaders advice, guidance.
If they DO NOT like it, amend again to include more $$ for THEIR pet project...

And then, states jump on the bandwagon of jackwagons, make a new bill to resemble the Fed bill...on...on & on...

See, I know the difference between split beans & coffee, horse manure & apple butter...

So , YES it IS a RISK. Time to stop the phoney baloney ''it'll never happen'' BS.

perhaps hoping to pass them while the public's focus is on coronavirus.
Hoping to put the pro gunners in a bad light when they vote against it more likely, they know they don't have the votes in the senate.

This sort of thing isn't going away, they know they need to disarm America to push their overall plan.

I keep sending messages to my Senators and Representatives to oppose such bills. I suggest everyone does that. We must keep the pressure on them so that bills like this have no chance. Never ever just sit back and say "It'll never happen"

With a conservative majority in the senate and a conservative President, this ain't gonna happen. Just way too extreme.
