Problem with prone.

Yep, I’m thinking prone is not going to work for me at all. I can barely get down on the floor in the house here and have too much neck and shoulder strain trying to get lined up behind it. Then I have to get up, and that isn’t pleasant either. I just hit 50 and it isn’t supposed to be this bad yet.

I usually have a stretchy Velcro band around my midsection to keep my tube out of the way and keep me from snagging it on something and pulling it out again. That was interesting. But with the hernia right there with it, prone is out according to the Dr, I asked. I’m thinking this portable table will be just the ticket and hope to test it out this week.

Thanks again.

First off, I'm sorry about your fiscal condition at only 50 and wish I had some advise that would help but don't except saying that Aleve allows me to do more than I could without it. You are a resourceful person as seen by your cart/table rig that allows you to get out and shoot without help. Personally I hate to ask anyone for help and always have. I am close to hitting 84 and have a sneaky suspicion I am going to have to modify my thinking on help pretty soon.

That's a cool little portable bench. Looks light too. Only thing that might be a concern is perhaps X bracing those legs so it don't collapse and cause damage to you or your gear. Kinda like scaffolding.

Great idea for a bench; but I would put 1/2 X 1/2 X ? strips on both sides of one of the pieces to create a channel where the parts slide together rather than rely on the holes to hold everything stable.
