I decided both needed to be on a knife blade that might be handy to wear along with a revolver while out boondocking. I used to make a few knives but gave up blade making after I tore both rotator cuffs. Making knives had nothing to do with the tears but I just didn't want to strain anything and still don't. The solution was to look for blades and I chose a stainless version from Morakniv to wear the wood and horn. This is the result although the lighting on one isn't too great. A little brass and a small piece of spalted sycamore slipped into the process.

After showing them to my wife my plans were altered as she claimed them for her kitchen. I will have to make another as I still have some nice figuered walnut laying around. I am not showing the next one to my wife. :D

Very nice!

I've gotten a lot of use out of my Morakniv knives.

I bought one for my wife to use in the kitchen right up front, so she'd be less likely to snag any more from me. :)

Very nice indeed!
What is your secret?
Do you use knife blanks?
I have a good supply of handle material!

These are just the really nice ones.
Mrs recently relocated them to the garage.

I am confused about the secret question but, yes, I use blanks now. I used to make the complete knife, blade and all, but lack the energy to make the blades now. No deer in my area so I have to purchase my antler. The one on the knife shown was one I bought from Dixie Gun Works years ago and just stuck back because it was so old it was bleached completely white.

Your secret to such a nice knife build!

Thanks for the compliment. No secret, just skilled workmanship. :D I wish. Sometimes I just get lucky

I must disagree with you sir.

Luck had nothing to do with you making these knives; it was all in your fine and creative craftsmanship!
