When I looked what is available in C&B revolvers, I could see just cal. 36 and 44. Actually, Ruger listed ROA at beginning as cal. 44, but later on changed to 45. When I bought a pair of ROA, one was identified as 44, another as 45.

Is any other caliber, like true 44 (.429"), 400, etc., that were used in C&B revolvers? If so, I would appreciate a picture of actual revolver.

No .429 diameter .44's. The land size of .44 cap and balls is .440. In the cap and ball days bores were measured before they were rifled.

I have an old Freedom Arms 22 C&B revolver, very similar to the NAA pistol. The instruction book stated besides BP and Pyrodex you can use Bullseye. The same powder measure throws the charge for both Bp and Bullseye. The BP and Pyrodex loads are pretty anemic. In fact I had a round bounce off an aluminum can. The Bullseye load will bury itself in a 2 X 4.

I have the 31 Remington . Guess me calling it a 32 is wrong, but I can order a cylinder so that it shoots 32 S&W cartridges. I'm getting awfully temped - the 241$ price tag is holding me back.

That sounds interesting. BTW, what is revolver model?

I often thought about getting one of them and there is a novelty of having both percussion cap and ball and smokeless .32 to choose from, but .31 round balls are weak and if I want to shoot .32 S&W I could buy a $150 top break that's faster to reload and double action.

NICE!!!

I read an article in Guns and Ammo many moons back about a 4 bore elephant gun. Showed pictures of some hippie looking character shooting it, gun was about 45 degrees up in recoil and all his hair was straight out behind him. The target was a couple of beer cans on a log, big crescent of daylight under them, splinters starting to fly and the cans were just beginning a trip to outer space. The photos were truly amazing.
