I pulled the trigger on a DWX and am going to have the slide milled for a 507 comp. Now it's just a matter of finding out if anyone has any experience or info on those that advertise slide milling.

Anyone have knowledge of places that do milling?

No clue as it's a fer piece to a gunsmith. Any competent machinest should be able to do it but I believe there is is something about having an FFL to do so legally. Not sure on that as I don't keep up closely. I do know that our town's machinest, now passed on, had a FFL so he could do work on guns.

Try Southwest Precision out of AZ or Springer Precision

CGW
CZ Custom
Primary Machine

All have done cuts on DWXs

Milling a slide for an optic on an irreplaceable slide isn't something I want to leave in the hands of the unexperienced.

my thoughts exactly. I want this done right. not like It's going to be easy to fix if there's an "oops" I had looked at CGW but I didn't see anything specific to the DWX.

Just had Wager Machine Works (Crossville, TN) do a G48 for me-six days door-to-door. Immaculate machine work, excellent price.
