Hello,
Anyone interested in a semi guided boar hunt on a central CA {Parkfield) Ranch in exchange for trying to fix two quads down with electrical issues ?
No guarantees you will bag a boar and I expect no guarantees you will fix these old quads but I'm pretty sure you'll have some fun.
This is a 325 acre lightly hunted private ranch with tons of sign.
Contact Jeff to discuss.
Thanks for looking.

I'm not a mechanic , and I live in Wyoming , so not much help in that regard . But I'm from Carrizo Plains and Cholame Ca , and I can attest to the high probability of getting hogs in that neck of the woods . And that these barley fed hogs are great eating . And that if you eat at the Parkfield Cafe you wont be disappointed . This is a great opportunity for someone ,

Lots of people are scared of ca gun laws, and I know I would be worried about it were I interested. Maybe you should sweeten the offer by throwing in a loaner weapon for the hunt. That way a potential taker doesn’t have to worry about accidentally getting in trouble.

Obviously that suggestion is from someone on the opposite side of the country and may be way off base. Feel free to completely ignore it.

Indeed as codytrucker says they are delicious barely fed animals.
I don't think any CA hunters are worried about bringing guns onto private property but I certainly can sweeten the deal by providing a zeroed in rifle.
Also coyote and ground squirrel hunting available.
Call or text only please as I might miss any PMs.

I've got enough pig problems myself but if you are interested in trying to figure it out, PM me with make, model and issue and I'll see what I can do to help. Most are not very complicated, easer to figure out than find parts, often...

I think you are right about the gun law deal . Bringing in an AR isn't gonna be a good idea probably . And there is a no-lead ammo law for hunting , so all copper is a must , but there are very good copper bullets so that is not really a hindrance . In Cali. pigs are considered a game animal , so Its not a high body count affair like other states . Parkfield is in a pretty rural , remote area between I-5 and US 101 , Paso Robles , north of the intersection where James Dean died . I don't know what the population is now , when I left that country in '93 it was 37 . and Cholame ( sha-lam) was 63 . Its still California , But not like your in the bay area or L.A .

Also home to the epicenter of the San Andreas Fault!

I hunted the Central Coast California several years for hogs. Beautiful place.
