What have I got waiting? A few buckets of sorted wheelweights waiting to be smelted!
NOW you’re a handloader.Update on this trickler.. it was super squeaky out of the box and the tube had lots of fore and aft movement. I took it apart and added a tiny bit of moly to the bearing surfaces, and gave it 500+ hand turns. Took it apart and cleaned it up. Now it feels like ball bearings. Barely put a finger on it for a spin and get one kernel at a time if you want. It’s very heavy and doesn’t move. I highly recommend it. But does need a tune up out of the box
I’ve got 200 rounds under my belt now! I’m big time! LolNOW you’re a handloader.
I am in the same campwaiting… still…
I’m trying to shoot all my old handloads so I can make them into new handloads. Time and Hershey bars. That’s what I need.I am in the same camp
It’s tough with one arm. Haha. Takes twice as long!I am in the same camp
I have 100 .45 ACP cases all primed and belled waiting on powder charge and bullet seating. One day next week or over the weekend I'll get them finished. Then I have a pile of .38 SPL and .357 Mag to work on. Now with warmer weather on the horizon time to get into some rifle loads. So here's the question: What have y'all got waiting for your attention in the reloading room

That's a dam tragedyI need to find a purpose for this 06 Lake City brass.
It was for my M1 A National Match.
I put exactly 772 rounds through that rifle before Canada put them on the prohibited list.

That was my favorite rifle.

I had that rifle less than a month when I shot this target.

It may not look like much but I still remember every shot 11 years later.
We just finished the 600M final portion of a competition.
You and your partner have 25 minutes to each take 2 sighters and 10 shots. We ploughed through everything in about 15 minutes leaving 10 minutes for me to bring my M1A National Match up to the mound to try it out.
The rifle had its stock NM hooded peep sights
I had never shot it past 200M at this point.
I dialed elevation and I added 1MOA of left windage.
I fired the first shot and I was off target to the right a little. My spotter called 2 moa of left windage with perfect elevation.
The way it works is that there are people in the rifle butts pulling down the target board after every shot and placing a marker in the last hole before putting it up.
The first shot that hit was the upper left scoring a 4.
I held slightly right and scored the 5 top center.
My spotter called for a 1/2moa elevation adjustment so I turned the hooded peep sight for the 1/2 MOA adjustment and the following shot was the V-Bull in the center. The next 2 shots were the lower 2 left.
I have the load imprinted in my brain.
42.8gr of IMR 4064 in 06 LC brass with a CCI#34 NATO primer and a 168gr SMK.
I’m planning for a move south of the border when I retire.I don’t like sad stories. I’d move. May tru doh get raging herpes forever
