Years after Keystone introduced the Mini Mosin, promising it would be the first in a series, it looks like they are finally close to dropping another Mini-

Behold the Mini 1903A3!

Overall, I think it looks good. There are a few details, especially with the sights, that are a bit clunky, IMO. I'm intrigued, but with an MSRP over $450, I don't know that I will bite.
If they offer a Deluxe model with sling and bayonet, that may be enough to push me over the edge, though. Lol.

They had, at one time, suggested that a No.4Mk1, Carcano, and Arisaka might be in the offing. Strangely, I find myself really hoping they do the Arisaka, since there are no legit .22 trainer variants out there.

Wish there was a tape measure or yardstick along those first photos.

In any event, I can see both CMP and Appleseed making these very popular out there among the 22 marksmanship crowd.
I dunno....kinda pricey for Appleseed. You could get 2 Savage Mk1s or 3 Crickets/ Rascals for the same price as 1 of these.
They are about 5/8 scale of the real thing- there are many vids of folks shooting the Mosin one-handed, lol.

These are cool, I had a chance to handle the Mini Mosin at a gun show a few years back. I know these are intended as being youth rifles, but even as a full-grown adult it's still a lot of fun shooting a miniature gun... it's why I enjoy my NAA 22Short mini revolver so much. The 1903 looks like a nice addition to this series.

Thats probably the main reason I'm not super stoked about the Mini A3, as I already have a real M1922. I doubt they would do a lookalike, though, as these are relatively obscure to the general shooting public.

I sold one for a family member some years back, had a 3 digit serial number.

I wanted to buy it myself, they needed the money asap and the buyer was chomping at the bit.

My grandson Wade with a Marlin Youth .22lr single shot I trimmed and slimmed many many years ago when my sons were so young. "Pumeper" is its name.

And a couple years later, he hunts with a 'mini', as his cousin Sabbi starts with the 'Pumeper' this year.
gonna be fun to watch with two upfront in the boat, as I drive and direct.

Caribou !
What’s that in the left of the photo with the “white wash” treatment?
Looks to be an M1A?
Lucky kids!

Yep, GG, it's a NM Springfeild M1A.
Ive used it for a few years now, since my eyesight changed a bit. The peeps are great as I age.
I painted the stock a few times for summer/winter, and the white paint flaked in the deep cold for a nice effect.

If I dont break or wear the gun out , as I have done so to several over the years, Ill give it to the older boy.

It'll square up his shoulders, if anything at 11+ lbs.
