10/22 to MG42 conversion kit

I've heard that it's nowhere near as impressive in person, and that it looks VERY plasticy.

Not as big as the real MG42. The gun is still a ruger.

I've never seen one in person, but I every report I've read from someone who has was less than impressive. The page you link has an option to zoom in, but only on part of the gun at a time. A little judicious work with Paint Shop Pro fixed that ... See attachment for a substantially larger zoom of the entire kit.

Very very cheap and plastic like. I didn't like the one I played with at all. Spend your money building a nice 10/22.

Much nicer to build your own 10/22. A member here has a 10/22 built up with an AR BUIS and Front sight. Its looks pretty nice!

Another option is the Rhinelands Arms R22. Its a 10/22 conversion kit that makes it look like an HK.

Only seen them at gunshows, they look extremely cheap.

One of our members has one. From about ten yards it looks pretty cute. From ten feet it looks like a watergun. Pass.

How about an AR-15 to MG-34 conversion??

In 8mm Mauser. Just slap on your AR/M16 lower.

Ok where can you find an MG34 upper like that!

Amazingly BRP is here in MD with me. Unfortunately they want $4400 for the upper package! :banghead:
