The CZ-75B is very Hi-Powerish in the shape and feel of its grip. If you like the feel of a Hi-Power, you'll like the CZ. I really like the look of the new CZ 75 "Retro" that is a throwback to the "pre-B" CZ's, but with the current firing pin safety in place. One of those, with a single action trigger installed, would be very nice. If I can find out for sure that they have a steel frame, and not the alloy frame, then I will pop for it immediately. Maybe this will give me an excuse to finally try some of Hakan's grips.Prof said:What other 9mm pistol would you compare the CZ 75B (or P-01) grip to? A BHP, Beretta, etc? I have smallish hands and, while I can grip the BHP comfortably, the Beretta and Sig 226 are a bit too big. I have not been able to handle a 75B but have considered getting one if the grip is not too "fat". Thanks!
Most recently I tried my buddy's CZ40P and I was amazed at its accuracy. It was even more accurate than his .40 SIG P229, but he's gotten some jams. If it wasn't for the jams I would've already bought a CZ40P.
It's going to be mainly a range and beater piece.
I had really bad experiences with a CZ75 pre-B and a CZ75 Compact
I have a CZ-75B SA for the range and am going to get a P-01 for carry.
