Your poll may be a little skewed because you didn't define how often folks carry -- and that was near the point of contention, wasn't it?

I'm just wondering what percentage of the folks who answered only carry once every couple of days, compared to how many carry all the time.

I was looking for commander size in the list when I clicked. Isn't that how we label em? Government, commander. What else is there?

Primary carry gun is a Springfield Mil-Spec .45. I also carry, on occasion, a 586.

Size doesn't matter, it's how you use it.

Most of the time I have my S&W 4553 TSW on me. Its a single stack, compact. Before this one I carried a Colt Diamondback, 4". I would be in the "all the time" group.

I like many above cary a variety depending on the circumstance. I carry a Beretta 92D Centurion on duty. I have a duplicate pistol I often carry off duty to keep my training current. I also keep a small S&W J frame revolver, a Model 38 Bodyguard in my pocket. A GLOCK 26 will often be the off duty gun when I am packing only one. A GLOCK 34 is for my gun games. I have all the bases covered and hate the idea I could only select one. I went for the Full size high capacity in the poll due to it being my primary duty gun and most often off duty gun.

Hmm ... My Steyr S40 fits dead between the "compact auto" and "subcompact auto"

I know I SHOULD carry my 1911/G19/686 all the time. Truth is, unless its "winter" (jacket/sweater time here in Tx), its my P-32 or my Bersa .380 that goes in my pocket (most of the time the P-32 ).
