Ok, there is something to be said for a more ergonomic handgun grip. If it happens to be fancy, all the better. The two I just got don't really make the guns handle better, but I do think they look better.
Browning Hi-Power MKIII, w/Ajax ivory polymer grips. These would have been fabulous, if the right side grip didn't have some ugly black smears in it. I was very depressed.
S&W model 10-5, w/same brand and type of grips. These didn't have imperfections, but don't fit the K square frame as well as factory service grips do. I only shoot the S&W infrequently at the range, so I don't mind. I'll still be pimpin'.
OT, finally got my Kahr K9. (no, that's not my carry ammo)
The trigger takes a little getting used to, but the gun is very accurate at self defense ranges, easy to conceal, and has surprisingly low recoil. I expected it to sting, but it's less snappy than my Makarov 9x18 (blowback vs locked breech?) It came with five magazines, two holsters (Bianchi and Galco), and the original box. No scratches or wear. $515 including shipping and transfer.
