Ok, there is something to be said for a more ergonomic handgun grip. If it happens to be fancy, all the better. The two I just got don't really make the guns handle better, but I do think they look better.

Browning Hi-Power MKIII, w/Ajax ivory polymer grips. These would have been fabulous, if the right side grip didn't have some ugly black smears in it. I was very depressed.

S&W model 10-5, w/same brand and type of grips. These didn't have imperfections, but don't fit the K square frame as well as factory service grips do. I only shoot the S&W infrequently at the range, so I don't mind. I'll still be pimpin'.

OT, finally got my Kahr K9. (no, that's not my carry ammo)

The trigger takes a little getting used to, but the gun is very accurate at self defense ranges, easy to conceal, and has surprisingly low recoil. I expected it to sting, but it's less snappy than my Makarov 9x18 (blowback vs locked breech?) It came with five magazines, two holsters (Bianchi and Galco), and the original box. No scratches or wear. $515 including shipping and transfer.

XavierBreath, where do you think I got the inspiration to buy the grips in the first place? ;)

My favorites are the stags on your Colt Commander.

XavierBreath -- who did the grips on your King Cobra and what are they (rosewood)? Staghorn, ivory and good wood -- you are clearly a man of good taste when it comes to dressin' up your guns!

Old Dog,
The King Cobra grips are rosewood from Eagle. I picked them up on ebay for $40 or so. King Cobras are hard to find nice grips for when you are cheap like me!

grimjaw, I'm flattered! Your Model 10-5 is the cats meow!

Wow...
Those are the most beautiful grips I have ever seen... seriously...

Any recommendations for what to do with a parkerized 1911? I have GOT to get these ugly brown plastic things off of it soon, but I havent seen anything that I like :)

Brotha, those are just plain old Alumagrips. I also have some Carbon Creatiions carbon Fibers.....

New Herrett's on the 686, and below that - the CZs all sporting grips by Omega.

Had to include the closeup of the Australian Silky Oak on the 75B. Amazingly odd wood.

Tomcat with Ajax Black Diamondwood
Walther P5C with Nills walnut
SIG 226 with Hogue Pao Fero
Kimber Rosewood
