I'll let you know ;)
Who here carries on a regular basis using a shoulder holster. Assuming I am wearing a jacket or overshirt of some kind, how likely is it that I will be as comfortable or more using a shoulder rig as oppopsed to one on the belt.

Although I don’t carry, being in CA in an unfriendly county, I do have a vertical shoulder holster for my Taurus Tracker 627. It is really comfortable if you wear a belt to connect the holster to, else the thing just gets pulled down on your weak side.

One thing I have noticed though, is that with a vertical shoulder holster, with the gun’s grip pointing straight out in front of you, you have to wear something heavy to avoid printing or looking like you have a growth in your armpit.

Living in a warm climate,

I rarely wear a jacket so other means are used to carry my pistol. I use either a man purse or just put it in my pocket........chris3

I just bought a Galco jackass rig for my sig 229. It takes some getting used to, but I really like. I also have a Milt Sparks VersaMax II that I love. The shoulder holster is nice when I want to wear a tucked in shirt. I wore it all day and after a while you kind of forget about it. The only thing is the weight of the gun. The sig loaded with 12+1 rounds of .40 plus 2 additional 12 rounders has some heft to it. But overall, its definitely got a place in my holster collection.

I do!

I like the Ken Null SMZ and wear it as a driving holster, as well as whenever I can wear a cover garment.

I reviewed it in the current issue at modernsurvival.net, but only subscribers can view, so I attached a PDF of the article.

It's a good holster, but like most shoulder rigs, I consider it a "niche" carry system.

Best regards,
Dirty Bob
