IM004504.gif iam a happy camper, yesterday i casted 600 38 cal 121gr, loaded them with the SD, and single staged 100,223 and 100 9mm,tomarow we shoot the new m36,,

Nice setup! I just work off of a small bench in the car that I bummed off of a buddy that was moving out of the dorms.

Ahhhhhhh. Elbow room. I work off a Workmate in my garage, with another 4ft sq table to the side. But this time of year I have to move inside. 4 grains of Titegroup mixed with 10 grains of sweat doesn't cut it. One of these days, maybe.

I'm spoiled to have a dedicated gun/reloading room.

Here's the bench. The Safe is out of the picture, and there's a desk behind me. It's not a big room, but perfect for just me to slip into, close the door and assemble projectiles.

A view of my garage setup

Nice pictures folks.

Here are a couple of my setup. My space is not dedicated to reloading. I share the space with other workbench projects too. The wood piece I created under my Star Universal can be mounted via c-clamps to a mobile bench as well should I need to relocate. I copied a design from another reloader's picture I saw on another forum.

My bench (in the garage) is used for more than just loading ammo. See the cylinder head on the left side of the picture? That's for the Cougar. :D

As a side note, I store all of my powder, primers and ammo in the house where the temp is cooler.

Bigger Jon: nice setup. You got a lot of guns to clean; perhaps you'd like to send that Mak to me to clean for you...on a permanent basis of course!

Powder and primer storage is important. I store mine on a board spaced about an inch above my concrete floor, to avoid any possible accidental moisture on the floor and to maintain the coolest even temperature. Avoid places where the heat can build up, like near the ceiling...

The same goes for loaded ammunition.

If security is an issue, storage can be in locked trunks or metal boxes.

I just got done moving from one place to another, now to begin the daunting task of re-creating the mess exactly as it was, or to create a new mess?????
Well, in either case, I'll have more table top area to pollute, so the mess can intrude on more area before it becomes bad enough to clean.
