for fun, let's try and use this format too:

Nightforce NSX 5.56-22x56mm NP-R2 reticule.
(mounted to Barrett M82-A1 CA.)

Well, I don't have much to compare it to since my only other scope is just a Tasco but I'm happy with it. I haven't done any low light shooting with it but during the day it's bright and clear. The only thing is the brightness adjustment knob on the light is delicate and it's hard to feel where the "stops" are so you can turn it too far and break it. Ask me how I know lol. I emailed Tapco, though, and they said to send the light part of the scope (it detaches) in and they'll replace it free. Unfortunately I'm not the original owner and don't have the receipt, though I might try to get it replaced anyway.

Now these are some cool pictures. My favorite gun pics have always been from the "behind the sights" view.

reticule pics

i am looking to buy a scope but i am not sure of the different styles of reticules available. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a website that has the various reticules listed as well as their pictures, i cant seem to find one with either a listing of the different ones or their corresponding picutres. if anyone can help me out i would appreciate it thanks

Russian PK-AS-V red dot on a Rommie AK clone. The dot as well as the outter ring stays visible in black even with the sight turned off so it is only really necessary to illuminate the reticle in dark conditions.

The target, BTW, is a manican head I found in a ditch walking home from town one day. Don't know why I kept it. Found it kinda interesting, I guess. It is about 10 feet away in this pic.

O and artherd, the NP-R2 and Nightforce optics in general rock. Dan Lilja is based just outside Plains, MT. My dad bought a 30 in #5 stainless fluted from him for a custom .338 RUM he was building and Dan gave us a pretty good deal on an 8-32x56 NXS for an AR-50 my brother bought.
