Mmmm... O.D. Green
Actually the reason I posted the pic is that this model is NOT O.D.
It's not the greatest picture but it is being sold on one of the auction sites as a unique item....I kinda like it:confused:

I certainly do think it would be nice for hunting or target shooting, with that long barrel. The problem with that particular model is the ones I've seen come with sissy muzzle brakes, which are too damn loud for hunting in the woods:(

Sonny, that looks suspiciously close to the OD Green Smith Hunter that's been gathering dust at a local shop for a long time. Hardly unique, certainly ugly.

I'll try to find the exact page I took the picture from .......it did not say anything about O.D. finish......I am familiar with the one you all are talking about......lemme see if I can find it:)

Found it .....maybe I'm seeing things but it doesnt look like the O.D. ones I've seen before.....What is the birdsong finish they talk about?....does that mean it is O.D.?...check it out.
I have seen this model in a variety of colors and finishes including all matte black and that is what makes me wonder about this particular model.....I may just call and find out.

Walter Birdsong has a company that does gun coatings that go by the names of Black-T or Green-T. I know a couple guys with Black-T guns that swear by the finish.

Whatcha' got there is a Hunter in Green-T.

Actually the gun is called a Stealth Hunter (PC# 170171). It has a barrel that is unique and exclusive to this model and only comes in the bi-tone Birdsong finish.

Also, be aware that occasionally large government contracts show up that may cause your gun to get bumped to the back of the line.

Birdsong does outstanding work, though.
