Remind these right leaning dems of the gigantic mistake that will be made with another AWB. Remind them why they lost power under Clinton (Gun Control) and can lose again. And again. And again.

First rule of advertising copy:

Eliminate [strike]needless[/strike] words.

Brevity is the soul of wit. Too many words become "blah blah blah" and a visual element that's skipped right over.

I'm afraid I'll have to agree with the others.

-FAR too wordy
-Multiple colors and multiple fonts don't enhance a message. Doing that makes it look garbled and random as though your brain just exploded on the paper.

------------------Maybe something like-------------------------------
(all written in one, professional and easy to read font)

Senator Charles Schumer
(sober picture of person named above)

Recently voted to disarm law-abiding citizens during a national crisis thereby leaving them at the mercy of criminals and other predators.
(Picture of katrina looters)

Should this man decide how -you- can protect your life, liberty, and loved ones?

Let's not turn a mistake into an ongoing tragedy.

Let's vote Schumer out of office.

(Disclaimer, the above statement is an exercise in editing/writing, not a statement of my own political views).

I swear I just want to rip his ugly face off. He looks like he's about to molest someone.

Yeah there are too much words. Also, take out the part about LEO's being killed. It will happen, LEO's will die if they try to follow those orders but as an ad for the general population, some might not want to be potrayed as a "cop killer".:neener: :)

Two initial impressions:

1) It reminds me of something like National Inquire.
2) It reminds me of something like National Inquire, but with more words.

If you want people to take your message seriously Then I would consider cutting down the the extremist language. And one wonders why people have a perception that gun owners are anti-government nuts.

Why? Extremism in the pursuit of liberty is no vice.
And one wonders why people have a perception that gun owners are anti-government nuts.

And why shouldn't they be? The Democrats are certainly anti-citizen nuts. They want subjects, not citizens.

Something else to keep in mind...

The Blue Dog Democrats are FISCAL conservatives, not necessarily social conservatives. Only about half of the BDs are pro-gun. Visit their web site, look at who's on the list.

Regardless of how you feel about the ATF, calling them "the WACO KILLERS" is a pretty quick way to get passed off as a redneck-nutcase.

It wasnt the Boy Scouts who committed that crime. And besides,in todays day and age? With terrorism? "Redneck-nutcases" are a comfort and civil compared to the other. And Im hispanic. ;)

I think the second one is perfect.

 Here's a great idea.:)

Use the picture where schumer is firing that tec-9 and say something like "how come he gets to have them?" or something along those lines. Make it look like he's a wannabe dictator.

No need for the not-so-slightly veiled threat to kill LE.
What threat? Its a fact. I have many friends who are cops. And living in NYC I fear for their lives everytime they are forced to harrass a gunowner to enforce some bigoted gun control law. What of a national effort?

If the psycho DC shooter ran circles around the LE agencies of three states including the capitol. What of 100, 1,000 or 10,000 determined citizens acting to resist that confiscation? There are an estimated 89,000,000 gunowners in this country. Do you really think it would be as few as 10,000?

My point: An effort by the federal government to ban and confiscate our weapons would do exactly what it did when this country was founded. Start a revolution. My point is that LE in general should loath polticians like Schumer because he does not give a damn about them.
Reminds me of something out of Berkeley circa 1969
Circa 1969 Berkeley tactics are being used now by the left.
It reminds me of something like National Inquirer
The National Inquirer can be found in the checkout isle of every major supermarket in the country. There is a little bit of a demand for this stuff one might think. ;)

I guess my friend Sam must be a nut.

A standing Army, however necessary it may be at some times, is always dangerous to the Liberties of the People . Soldiers are apt to consider themselves as a Body distinct from the rest of the Citizens. They have their Arms always in their hands . Their Rules and their Discipline is severe. They soon become attachd to their officers and disposd to yeild implicit Obedience to their Commands. Such a Power should be watchd with a jealouse Eye . I have a good Opinion of the principal officers of our Army. I esteem them as Patriots as well as Soldiers. But if this War continues, as it may for years yet to come, we know not who may succeed them . Men who have been long governd by military Laws, and inurd to military Customs and Habits, may lose the Spirit and Feeling of Citizens . The Militia is composd of free Citizens .There is therefore no Danger of their making Use of their Power to make suffer and Destroy that which would invade their rights . -Samuel Adams- Jan. 7th 1776
