Tell the truth, how many of you first thought " I want one of those" when you saw the pic?

hmmm, pisol grip. collapsable stock. all it needs is a box mag and flash hider and it would be a "assault weapon"

Just for clarification, that's not me. I got the pic from a home gunsmithing forum from a guy with a sense of humor. He even made a "trigger" for it to make it look a bit more real. Cracked me up.:D

Yeah, but if he could figure out how to get a chamber and a rifled barrel on it, he would have a wad of sales. Would be classified as a "dual purpose" assault weapon.

I just finished using a set of those to lift a 14x20 workshop/shed off of the trailer and set and block it up.
I actually never want to see one again

Those things have pretty good ballistics. When we were kids my brother and I were hooking a hay rake to the back of a pickup with one, the rake slipped off, and the jack hit his let. He spent the rest of the summer with his leg in a cast.

You don't fool me one bit. I'm not mistaking a Phase Plasma Laser Rifle in the 40 Mega Watt range for a common assault rifle. So there!:p

I had one of those rifles mounted on the front grill guard of my Jeep. When I traded the jeep, the guy like the rifle so well, he insisted I throw it in with the deal, knowing ammo was hard to find. Recoil was awful, and you had better chock you wheels when you shot it. Accuracy was mediocre, I never killed anything with it, but a hunting buddy got wounded by one.

Assault rifle

Gary, your nomenclature is OFF

That is an Illudium Q43 Space ModulayTORR

;>)

So, was I the only little kid that pretended his dad's jack was a belt-fed machine gun?

First I said to myself, daaaaang..... I want one. Then I realized what it was, and that I had one. Imo, despite the looks they really lack in firepower. ;)
