This has to truly be my favorite handgun that I have ever owned. For this thing to be so lightweight, the recoil is very manageable, even ONE handed!!! Nice flash and intimidating blast. Anyone else had any experience with this firearm? I was also wondering about the durability in the long run.

I am very fond of my stainless Tracker in .44 mag. as well. It shoots well and the action was about as nice as they come out of the box.

I can't speak to durability as I haven't enough rounds through mine . I will say that since they are on a medium frame that I would expect them to last longer if not subjected to a lot of heavy loads.

I shoot mainly .44 Spl through mine . Most everything I shoot at (paper - cans - steel plates) surcease to the .44 Spl loads just fine. Then some occasional .44 Mag loadings to remind me of the extra power available.
I like to stick to 180 grain magnum loads as well, but shoot a few 240's on occasion.

A lot of extra energy available in a gun that carries and sized like a L frame S&W -- what's not to like ?

I just picked up one a couple of weeks ago, (snubby/ported). I have taken to the range and I am very pleased. I have shot both full house 44 mags and 44 specials. It works great. I carry it loaded with 44 spl sivler tips. Love this weapon.

I got an M44C too and i also love it. In the case of my gun it likes 300 gr 44mags though.

Quick question on the snub's - Are they the Tracker 5 shot frame ? or the larger M44 6 shot frames ?

Taurus web site is a bit behind in listing these models.

ps: MCgunner - as far as I know they are available in Stainless and Carbon(blue) steel but not in Ti.
