I am trying to find out something about my rifle
and where to find a clip.
I bought , What I was told was a Schmitt Rubin about 20yrs. ago
because I liked how it looked but, I dont know what calibur it is.
It has the same serial number all over the gun and when I took the stock
off I found a new number (74271) then with (sig) (B50) and rite in
front of the clip housing (3311) with a (W) under that.
I would like to start hunting with it so, I would appreciate any help that you could give..

Swiss Rifles

If you google up "swiss rifles" you might find a photo of it and get started. Or try www.aimsurplus.com and see if it looks like a K31 that they sell. There is a photo there.
Or post a photo here and someone will identify it. So far, not enough to go on.

Swiss Cross on Schmidt-Rubin

Yes it does have a Swiss Cross on it, As soon as I learn how to post a photo
I will post some !

Do any of these look like your rifle?

Schmidt Ruben

It looks more like the Sniper rifle except mine
does not have the muzzle break on the end..
It does have scope groves and the stock
is tapered more on the end.
The stock has Swiss Cross stamped on the inside.

Swiss Cross On Schmidt Ruben

Yes, it has the Swiss Cross on the top of the Reciver
And by the s/n it was made in 1908 or in 1931, but does
not really look like those very much.
The stock is much shorter..
