Anybody have any pics of their range? Here's one of mine located near Toledo, OH. The close target frame is 50 yards, the middle 100, and the far target/berm is 200 yds. Picture taken last spring.

Great little out of the way range, $4 to shoot all day. Take water and TP, only a pit toilet, and no running water on site. Almost need 4WD on the access road. Love it.

Some images from http://chabotgunclub.com/.

Ranges3.jpg is the 20 / 50 / 75 / 100 yard range.
Ranges4.jpg is the 7 / 15 / 25 yard pistol range.
Ranges5.jpg is the facility at the 200 yard range. That is Oakland and the SF Bay in the background.

The last is me with the 686+ at the 7 yard range.

Bird's eye image of the range. Rifle range of the left. Two pistol ranges on the right. You can just make out the trap and skeet in the upper left corner. Image taken off of Windows Live Local Bird's Eye images. Bird's Eye is great. I have a collection of 25 or so ranges saved in my Bird's eye collection category.

We may not be the shootiest of nations, but when we do make ranges, we make 'em right. Notice the scale at bottom left :D

WOW! GRASS! On a shooting range, or anywhere public for tha matter....oh yeah, I'm from New MExico! We don;t have grass here.....

Grass can be a pain sometimes!! You'd be suprised at how hard finding .30/06 brass from my M1 Garand can be!! I swear moles reach up and bury them deep in the grass!

50 yard smallbore range & 25 ft pistol range @ Kimberton Fish & Game in PA.

a couple pics

Well, they may not be that fancy looking but we have;
1.) close range pistol, blade throw on left
2.) LR pistol and medium range rifle, also used for movement drills and archery.
3.) Med-Long, 50, 100, 200 yard (3 and 600 not visible from this angle)
4.) and 450 yard LR with zoom

Fees consist of some ammo, scrap metal, coal, arrows, beer, knowledge, or just good conversation.

American shooting centers, far west houston. I am on the open air 200 yd berm. you can see over to the right the 300, 400, and 600 yd berms, i think.

Man, that Tucson range looks beautiful. The ranges I go to are pretty much like the ones others have posted. Relatively flat in a wooded area, i.e., no scenery at all.

Wow... I've never seen a gravel path going out to the targets before... I guess that would hamper using the tractor/brushhog...

This is one public range fairly close.

You have running water, if the creek is up - there is a bridge to walk over for the longer backstops. :D "Complete" bathrooms available 10-40 miles up the road at the gas station... The number of people you see in the pictures is about usual... I guess most use the backyard in the surrounding area...

wow, all of you guys are making me jealous. I'm 95% certain that there is absolutely nothing like that in my state west of the cascades.

I have to settle for shooting in a gravel pit or by the power lines :-/
