Nice pics guys. I really want a lever action, not sure what to get though. I don't know why, but theres something about LAs that are just so hardy.

How's the recoil on that thing, torpid?

Not a problem at all. (It's got a limbsaver pad under the buttstock cover.)
Felt recoil is definitely less than my shotguns.

bigman I was just using that to get thread action.
BTW That is a sweet 45-70 That is next on my list.

looks like i need to dig out the 'ol camera and get a pick of my Marlin model 1894 SS in .44 mag.

anyone have a tactical lever action?

Marlin 1894ss...

HA!

You can't fool me!

I clearly see an M1 Carbine and a shotgun in that mix.

And is there a little bolt action hiding in there, hmmmm?

Seriously, though . . . damn, son, that's a pack o' levers!

Well, what a fine thread.
I think I'll join.

No pics of the new family yet,
but I just bought two new levers in two weeks.

Marlin 39A and Marlin 336A.

The latter just came in yesterday.
I've got a pic of the former,
but not of the latter.
So I'll just wait until I can post both together.
(Coming soon, but I don't have the energy at the moment...)

Going to shoot both at the range Saturday.
Looking forward...

They are not very good pictures but I have a Puma(Rossi) 1892 in 45 Colt and a 1951 model Winchester 94 in 30.30win.
