I found these online...they are pretty cheap no matter where you get them from and they have everything I want, they are roomy, they are long, they have no sleeves so I wont get overly hot during the summer. They probably wont work for those of you who dress casually or in nice clothes, but for someone like me who is usually in jeans and motorcycle boots, they should work very well. They range from around $9.00 - $17.00 depending on where you get them from. I ordered 6 of these but have not received them yet as I just found them online tonight, but will post a review if requested sometime within the next month. I will wear a t-shirt with sleeves underneath the large majority of the time unless its in the high 90's, but the lack of a second pair of sleeves from a cover garment will be VERY nice :)

The Hawaiian or camp shirts are ideal to me as the patterns break up the shape of a sidearm. Besides, they're purty.:D

those hawaiin shirts are the ugliest things around lol. I dont know why people wear them, you either look like a tourist or someone who really wants to make to hawaii but cant afford it lol, or went to goodwill to get their clothing! I've been to hawaii and even there the only people that wear those shirts are the tourists or people who work in the tourism industry.

Anyway to each their own I suppose :scrutiny:

I have a few Hawaiian shirts too. MY wife doesent like the either but I do. If I look like a tourist that is fine cause that is the way I look at life. We are all just tourist visiting for a while might as well be comfortable! They are good for breaking up the outline of a gun too.

Summer Wear

Guayabera shirts work well in the summer. Here in San Antonio everyone wears them for Fiesta...there's a lot of pistol packin' at Night In Old San Antonio!:O)

I guess it's more of an "old guy" thing with the Hawaiian shirts, at least that's what my kids say. I love them, comfortable, look good, hide the big pistol and belly well, plus the wife says I look like Magnaum in them (I think she needs to go to the eye doctor). What more can you ask for?

Another "old guy" agrees 100%! Perfect for concealed carry in the summer...This "old guy" really doesn't give a flyin' flip what others think of his garb.

Please tell me you guys don't wear those Hawaiian shirts. Ugh.

I love the short-sleeve button up Tommy Bahamas, but they're like $110 a piece, so not many are in my closet.

I like that shirt, also. It fits in more with what I wear. The Hawaiian shirt thing isn't me and up here in NH, it tends to draw a bit of attention (in my opinion). I tried it and felt uncomfortable. Just my .02.

Hawaiian shirts...

...are becoming so common now for aiding in concealment of CCW, that everytime I see someone wearing one I start looking to see if I can spot thier firearms.

Hank,
Those tommy bahamas are awesome shirts. You can tell just by looking at them they are quality and they have to be the most comfortable shirt around. You can get them on sale sometimes for about $80. :)

DICKIES!

Tucked at work, and untucked outside work with the CCW, it's a beautiful thing

Ugh. And not a single photo of a firearm in the whole set to dull the pain... :)

I wear hawaiian shrts also, and a while back found this site.

Which has an hawaiian shirt to cover each of the armed forces. Plus a few extras.

This is the one I wear:

I am ordering the Pacific warbirds one for this summer.

But, I am old and fat, and don't really care if people don't like my shirt, I am the one wearing it, not them.

Before I got into guns when I saw a Hawaiian shirt I thought "ugly shirt" now I think "gun". But now I wear one about every day in the summer.

Oh no, I must officially be an old guy now!
I like them because the patterns break up your piece and they tend to be cool on hot days when cotton likes to get clingy. Plus they go great with your 5.11 tactical flip-flops! :D

Hey, Bob, I have one almost just like that - except mine has China Clippers on it.
Picked up a bunch this past summer in Hawaii - really cheap at the Navy Exchange, too.

I'd have to disagree with the "tourist only". Sure saw a lot of natives wearing them when I was there.

Those are sweet. I personally have 6 or 8 Aloha wear shirts. One the wife got me has all Ford Mustangs on it. Another has Corona bottles. Several that I got in Hawaii simply have the local flora on them. I like them a lot in the summer.

Must have...

The Navy Kamp shirt! Thanks guys, you force me to spend money on clothes and thats less for ammo! Seriously though once I show it to the wife it will appear. Thanks for the link.
