Wouldn't this fit better in the long gun sales section?

I vote for adding a "Heavy Artillary" subforum to the Buy/Sell/Trade. :D

Maybe go in for a group buy discount! :D

I wonder if it comes with Ammo. :D

I'd just use it to scare away the black birds is all. Honest!

whats the point? for it to be legal for a civvie to own, it has to be demiliterized.
Namely a nice cutting job torch that removes lots of armor from the tank. For starters the entire engine compartment armor has to be removed, the barrel rendered unusable, turret armor removed....

Do they deliver? and civillians can own tanks cant they, I've seen them operate with guns functional in the Knob Creek videos, at least i think theyre legal. maybe im wrong.

We could all chip in and own a percentage of one. :)

Someone should start a time-share company for ridiculously expensive toys. Pay $1K (plus fuel costs) and you get the tank for a weekend.

This just hit me, do you think you have to fill out a 4473 to purchase that gun?

75mm Recoilless rifle with ammo:

3 inch navy deck gun. This one is a real bargain since ammo and components are simple to find.

30mm anti aircraft gun with ammo which recently sold. Firing 30mm full auto must get expensive fast.

And of course James Degrotes 90mm gun: He has it listed for sale POR. It’s probably in the 30K range. Great videos of him firing it on his sight:

That's the first time I've heard that. Are we talking about the US here?

You could not be much more incorrect Unless you said it was against the law to own a tank. On T-55 and T-34 You need to demil the Breech and torch cut a hole equal to the bore in the high preasure area. Nothing else. No removing armor, Barrel is still usable as a prop propane gun, Which is alot cheaper to fire then live rounds.

T-72 and better need the same breech work and bore hole in the high preasure area, also any radar equipment needs to be removed. NBC, Night vision, Thermal vision will still work no armor removed.

So? I've seen many ads, selling T-72 or BMP-2, or Mig-21, once I saw the Devil's Chariot for sale, or . And prizes are "reasonable", with BMP-2 having lesser cost than say M60 transferrable MG. Or 6x4 Praga armored air defence truck with 2x30 mm cannons, for 30,000$, or SA-6 missile launcher, or Dana self-propelled artillery, or any other nice toy.

The time share idea sounds like so much fun. We could outfit it with some psuedo lasers so we could play laser tag in tanks. I know a local outfit in Portland Rents hummers and other expensive cars for events and such I say the same should work for tanks.

Think of somebody buying like 8 of these and opening a playground for big kids.

I'd like to get an M-3A1 light tank

Fast little suckers with that radial engine. Sure the 37mm is a popgun, but crusing at 55 on the freeway would be just my thing.
