I forgot to mention that i've shot a factory remington 700 chambered in 300 Rem Ultra Mag. The gun was synthetic stock, long barrel, with a scope. Suprisingly hefty, i would say 9 lbs or so, maybe 10. It didnt kick hardly at all. actually felt abit like my 35 Whelen with 200 grain loads in my classic remington 700 which probly weighs only 7.5 lbs with scope. Still, not like those slugs in that slug gun
The coolest gun i've shot that i was sorta expecting some kick was a 338-378 weatherby custom target rifle. it was pretty heavy gun, somewhere near 20 lbs, and had a big muzzle break. Shooting at 1300 yards and hitting gallon jugs haha. thing had some muzzle jump, but kicked no harder than my 6mm remington
