Wow -- this looks like it was a lot of fun! I suspect it'll be more than a year before I'd be able to make it to one, but perhaps in 2009

From the pictures, it seems like the weather was perfect, too.

Everyone needs to try the lemon pie it was awesome.

The lemon pie was to kill for.

Well I got close to the Lemon pie but the Dump cake caught my eye. hmmmmmmm.

And the other guys were eyeing the last piece of Lemon pie pretty hard and I didn't want to get caught in the middle. LOL!!!

I hope I can make it next time.

I wanted to go, but I was overwhelmed with stuff to do after graduating, a bachelor party (which was a range trip...) and some other things. How about some names to go with the faces?

Word is if one breaks the forearm, one has to shoot the second bird in sporting clays fast as the barrel heats up "right fast".

Funny thing is, I totally understand this, and I normally have electrical tape and did not that day just like Smoke-Rizen did not

Indeed. That thing was frickin' sweet. Reports, however, that I have contracted a new case of the iwannacoolgun virus are way overblown.

You got it right. The 10th. round on a stage was the really warm one!
But after all my years of welding and use of a cutting torch I've gotten over any show of alarm at the puffs of foul smelling white smoke that come off my hands. I should have some finger prints in a couple more days.
The real drawback of shooting the vintage 1887 Remmie is the lack of available of replacement parts. Four brass pins and some Elmers will have to do until I have time to shape a new one.
You really missed a great weekend Partner.
No finger prints on the left hand, and a numb right hand from loading mags. for the kids, I had to tell them to take a break once in a while, just so I could catch up. But well worth it, the future of the sport holds promise.

I finally have most of my fingerprints back, and have lost a few callouses as I do not mess with the torches as I used to.
I mean I can actually sense something is "warm" again.

I know about forearms breaking and "gotta shoot the second shot fast".
Barrels do tend to warm up a bit.
Always kept electrical tape handy, worked on Me, the gun, and keeping pellets in the hull reloaded about 8 times past needing tossing.

Then again that "whistle" from part of the hull exiting the barrel is sorta neat, and one does not get this with New shells.
Some folks just don't understand certain nuances of shotgunning like us.

Should we tell 'em one of the secrets to shotgunning is eating cookies, Lemon Pie and good home cooking like your wife and Sandy does?
