HAHA Almost every .40 cal firearm is heavier than a Glock model 23 ... well Kahr's new PM40 would be a little lighter. . . and therefore experience more felt recoil.
Since you like the Glock 23, why not get the compensated version? Same gun size with a lot less recoil, so I am told anyway.
This outlines the fact that recoil is very subjective. The OP needs to go rent/borrow a few guns and shoot them to see.Holy crap. Almost every single firearm available in 40S&W has been named. How can they all have the least recoil?

Koblenz: One pistol no one has mentioned yet is the Glock 35. I am wondering if it would handle better than the G23, since it is heavier and has a much longer barrel?
I am interested in buying another .40 pistol, and would like to find one that is far easier to control than my Glock 23. Which .40 should I buy?

Yeah, seriously...
Yes, the G35 is much more manageable. I HIGHLY recommend it.
I think we need a little more info at to how this gun is going to be used.

Thanks for the advice, CountGlockula. I am thinking the G35 should surpass other .40s in muzzle velocity, since the barrel is 5.31 inches long. It should also be more accurate due to the longer sight radius.
AKA "woo-woo" .How about the "Asian Assassin"?
