And does anyone want it?
I just received my last purchase from Evilbay and it turns out that the old guy who ordered it (me) didn't pay close enough attention to the item description. I assumed I was bidding on a cylinder for a '58 Remmie, although the listing just stated it was probably for a Uberti revolver, and didn't state which model.
Anyway - I've ended up with a cylinder for an unknown revolver, although it's in really great condition. If anyone can identify it, I'd appreciate it just to know what it is; and if anyone needs it, they can pm me and I'll send it for the cost of shipping.
I took the picture with a cylinder from a Pietta remmie for reference.

Jamie C. yep- I think you're right.
Caliber - don't have the calipers handy, but a .452 bullet won't fit, so I'm guessing it's a .44.
edited to add: I just checked with a .451 RB and it looks like it will shave a nice ring of lead off of it.

Here's the whole set

Unfortunately I didn't get a shot of the back of the cylinder.

You need the extra cylinders with this gun because it doesn't have a loading lever - the ejection rod will not suffice and is worthless with the percussion cylinder. You have to load the cylinders outside the gun with a loading stand.

I could use the cylinder if you'd like to send it. How much do you want for shipping, and where do I send it?

Had it on the tip of me toung ...It`s the 1873 colt model for the pards over the pond that can`t own cartridge guns ..DixieGunWorks had those guns on sale a few months back .

yep!! A friend of my partners had one in the shop yesterday, he was looking at some of my cut down Remmy 1858s and went out and got it outa his vehicle sayin if I wanted a 5" .44 C&B I just needed one of these.... I pointed out it was kinda a pain to load if he didn't carry a loader around while The 58s ya just carry a pouch full of paper catridges some caps and your set etc.....

dstorm1911 is absolutely correct - These are a real pain to load. You need a cylinder loader; the ejection rod is worthless as certain parts of a boar hog.

But, if you are carrying a couple of extra cylinders, it's not too bad. Certainly faster than my other Colts or my Remington.

Yep, the 1873 blackpowder is a blast to take out and shoot but requires a spare cylinder or three. I load up and go out and watch the bottles and cans jump. Mine is made by Pietta.
I don't know what company made the cylinder in the original picture but I do know it wasn't Pietta, they are a little different in the front of the cylinder where the pin goes through. It looks like an ASM cylinder that I have but it could be Uberti, I have never seen one made by them.

Yep, all you need are some extra cylinders and you're set for...

invading China???

Man, that's a lot of hardware.

Anyway, just for the heck of it, here's a side by side of the cylinder that came with my Uberti Colt 1873 SAA and an aftermarket cylinder of unknown origin (the Uberti is on the right):
