Naw, I got a few ounces on it. Being 6 ft doesn't help. I've gained bout 10 pounds since then. But that thing is seriously a hefty firearm. From dad as well.
Yours truly on the Jungle Run at Tac-Pro Shooting Center. One of my favorite pictures because he caught it right as the bullet hit the popper (see the cloud of paint dust?).
Here's a headshot of me for the play The Crucible at my high school: Here I am shooting a Yugo AK: Get the funk on!: Me as "Stevie Irvin" for Theater class: Stevie Irvin harassing my cat: Grrr... the requisite beard picture: I've been Parkerized!:
Here's a family photo from two years ago. We have another baby girl now. My kids love guns and are more than happy to help clean them and I have taken the older one to shoot. On the other hand, this past week I was cleaning the mother-in-law's sewing machine and the baby (one in picture) pointed to it and said, "Dadda, scary". I guess she likes guns, but hates sewing.
this is an old picture of me back when I was a rogue zombie hunter in south park, colorado. you can't see it, but off to the side is my tactical wheelbarrow, with a turret mounted .22 cal AR-15.
note my B.O.B., shotgun and edged melee weapon.
Taken in 2005 about 43 years after I last shot this 25 Pounder Field Gun.
The most fun was had in the Anti tank role.....firing a 20 pound tungsten projectile ahead of 19,687.5 grains of cordite NQ/S. at 1780 fps.... without ear protectors.
Feller had one a them things what make tintypes er some such. I'm carryin' two revolvers an' a Western W49 bowie. Y'ever notice how some folks carry one gun an' it looks like guns stickin' out ever'where?
Getting ready for a high speed mission in OIF3 (2005, Kuwait) -- coordinating plumbing parts with a civilian supplier!
I got lots of questions about the NRA sticker on my coffee cup ... usually I'd just say that it helped me think of what we had sworn to protect.
