I talked with a guy at the sportsman warehouse today and he said that the Ruger SAA (the new vaqueros) are being recalled and that they could not get them in the store for the past year. whats up???

I too like your blog Xavier though it's a shame we don't have much in common, well except my family is from Louisiana, and I have a Jeep Wrangler, and I like guns, and I'm also in the public safety sector. But other than that not much in common.

PS- I need to take a picture of my Stampedes, Gauchos, my '97 clone and Puma Legacy so I can share too.

I must get me one now that you have posted these pics.
I always wanted to be a Cowboy

Here's a pair that belongs to a friend. Consecutively numbered, new in box 2nd gen Colts with ivory grips. Any guesses on what they're worth?

Here are a few of mine:

Pictures20061210guns003.jpg

Pictured are a pair of Navy Arms 1875 Army revolvers and a 3rd Gen Colt SAA, all in original factory nickel plate. The Colt is .44 Special. The 1875's were originally chambered in 44-40, but I had .357 magnum cylinders rechambered in .44 Special and fitted to the guns, and that's what I now shoot out of them (loaded with black powder, of course!).

Not pictured are:
Another Navy Arms 1875 Army, nickel, 44-40
Ruger 50th Anniversary Blackhawk .357 Magnum
Ruger 50th Anniversary Blackhawk .44 Magnum
A pair of Colt Peacemaker .22's
Colt New Frontier .22
Uberti 1866 short rifle, 44-40
Winchester Model 1897 12 gauge, c. 1901
Akkar hammered coach gun, 12 gauge
