Handguns you'd like them to make

I haven't read all the posts - I don't know if something like this is already up (& if you know of a gun like this, please let me know!!)

A single stack SA/DA or DA only semi-auto in 9MM with a 4½" or longer barrel that would fit smaller hands. It would be an ideal range gun for my wife & daughter. It seems all the single stacks have short barrels, the guns with short barrels are all double stack...:banghead:

I posted in this a while back but thought of another pistol I'd like to see made:

A Star B or BM clone with a 4-4.5" barrel and chambered for .40S&W (and adjust the mags on the model B for 9x19 length cartridges, not the 9mm Largo). As heavy as the Stars are, they would soak up the recoil of the .40 with no problem. And the overall package would still be fairly compact.

Barrett

Kimber already makes the blued Pro Carry in 9mm; I'd like to see them follow up with a 9mm Stainless Pro Carry

I'll add another to the list I posted earlier:

Four-inch Ruger Redhawk (.44 mag) with a full lug barrel and a traditional grip.

I know they released a 4-inch Redhawk, but I want something with the look of the full-underlug GP100, and the current offering is (IMO) literally "butt ugly!" I'd even settle for a 5-round cylinder to keep it a bit more compact. I reeeeeealy want a heavy, full lug DA .44. mag. I'd look at the Taurus offerings, but I don't want a ported barrel!

And, I'd like a mini-minigun.

Actually... interesting concept.

It couldn't possibly take that large of a power supply to produce a miniaturized chaingun in .22LR on up to 7.62x25 or .223 or something like that - give it a shoulder stock, pistol grip and a foregrip and make the entire thing about the size of a PDW, with something like a SAW box to hold the belt.

Somebody get to designing. :D

(Hey, Sergei Mosin started with MSPaint too...)

I'd like to see someone start making repro's of Star's Firestar and Firestar Plus. Indestructable 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP compact SA guns.

a semi-auto pistol chambered in 450 Bushmaster! Oh yeah I like the modern semi chambered in 7.62x25 also

A Glock 17 chambered in .25 Auto.

Just imagine....25 rounds in a standard magazine.

And before you ask why: Just 'cause.:D

G/S

1. A Glock .22LR
2. Glocks with metal frames
3. S&W Model 657 (.41 Magnum) with a 4" barrel
4. For the ammo mfg.'s: .41 Special ammunition, and .38 Special +P+ at about 400 ft-lbs ME
5. No locks.
6. A Ruger GP-100 series in .22LR
7. A stainless S&W N-Frame, 8-shot, .357 Magnum (edit: oh, I see there's a PC 627 now, but it's ugly)
8. Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in .41 Magnum (edit: and a regular Redhawk, too)
9. Ruger SRH Alaskans with 4" full-shroud barrels
10. All-titanium handguns, including all of the above
11. and bring back the S&W 646 and 610

SIG to bring back the P228 for civilian sale WITHOUT those rails they ruin their pistols with now.

USP Elite in 10mm

S&W to revive the 1006, or a blue version, but both without mag safeties.

S&W to revive their old quality revolvers, pre block and pre lock. I'd kill to see a nice 27-2 with a 3.5" bbl and that midnight blue finish.

ok I'll bite

bring back the 357 maximum!

451 detonics/460 rowland but in a large full production and many models

what happened to the 10 gauges? I'd like to have a coach gun in one, then also a nice auto. Oh and could we bump them up to a 4-5 inch shell length for a super mag?

and since we are being silly...how bout a 500 S&W Desert Eagle! Or even a 460?

High explosive 22lr rounds?

How about a 9x18 revolver ? Probably wouldnt be a big seller, but several people already own 9x18 autos... a revolver would be a welcome addition.

a black powder hand cannon. no, really, i mean a hand cannon. think of a miniature "Black Pearl" esque cannon mounted onto a stock, m39 type pistol grip, and vertical forgrip. no caps, just a hole for a fuse. diameter should be about 1.25 caliber. as in the bore should be about 11/4" :)

Ruger, they already make the SRH Alaskan in 44 Mag, now they need to make a 4" Redhawk or Super Redhawk in 44 Mag so I don't have to try to find a pre-lock, pre- MIM 629 Mountain Gun. PLEASE

Now that we have the .44 Mag we need a .45 Colt version in +P

This is easy-

#1- I want to see SIG make an X5 version of the 220 in .45 acp with 14 round double stack magazines (same grip size as the XD 45). No rail, stainless frame, single action, super accuracy, entirely made in Germany. I'd buy it tomorrow. The current single action 220 looks terrible because they cobble it together on a frame that was made for a decocker... no thanks.

#2- SIG should also offer a 226 X5 package with 4 barrels... (9mm, 357 SIG, 40 S&W, and .22LR conversion) ... 3 magazines for each barrel.

#3- Smith & Wesson model 41 .22LR in stainless steel (+1000) with black/gray laminated grips, both barrel lengths... and a .22 short conversion kit for shooting Colibri's in the back yard!!!! Heaven!

#4- Mandatory left handed version of every bolt rifle and semi auto shotgun on the market!

#5- Instead of the new (forthcoming) S&W snubbie J frame model 40 .38spl case hardened lemon squeezer (grip safety, case colored frame, blue barrel & cylinder) make it a 3" model 65!!!!
(I'll still buy the J frame lemon squeezer, but I'd rather have it my way!)

****What would this look like you ask? Imagine a 3" round butt fixed sight K frame 6 shot .357 magnum with no lock and no grip safety, AND a case colored frame with a blued steel Cylinder & barrel!!!! (wearing rosewood or cocobolo Spegel boot grips) That would be incredible.

Great thread.
