First of all, I haven't shot this gun in over 10 years, it's only seen the light of day from it's case probably 5 times in those 10 years, so no gripes about how dirty it is
ANYhoo, as I am catching up on my wonderful U.S.A.'s wonderful gun culture on this fantastic forum, I got to thinking about this nagging problem I had with my very first rifle. It is a Magtech model 122, bolt action .22 lr.
I remember clearly after maybe 1000 rounds or so the piece of metal that is supposed to eject the spent casing quit spitting out the casings for me. I have to flick out the spent casing manually every time. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this problem? I'm sure those that are familiar with this style rifle will know which part I am talking about. Pic is below.
