Not one reporter or commentator has had the guts to ask the DC gun ban supporters about the real reason for the law. The simple fact is that all of those gun control laws are aimed at one or two minority groups - blacks and Mexicans in California, and blacks in the rest or the country.

The DC law was passed after race riots when the big-shot white businessmen realized their property could be at stake and ordered the Uncle Toms on the DC council to keep blacks from having guns. The same was true in Chicago where Little Hitler Daley wanted to make sure he could order the people to vote for his gang of thieves and thugs. Too bad supporters of a new slavery like Jesse Jackson and Barack Obama chose to go along with him. But remember that in Germany, some rabbis and rich Jews sold their fellow Jews to the Gestapo for a short term reprieve for themselves.

Fella's;

The above reminds me of the scene in "Twelve Angry Men".

Racism has been at the root of many gun control laws in the US.

NC residents are still required to purchase a purchase permit for handguns that is approved by the sheriff. I have no doubts that this dates from a time when the sheriff was making sure that only the "right" people could purchase a handgun in his county.

Haha. Guts in the media? That's rich.

The news is a business, not a public service. It's competitive, and people can lose their jobs in the blink of an eye. Status quo, no boat-rocking, etc.

Having been born and raised in NC, there is no doubt in my mind that NC handgun laws were and are based on institutionalized racism.

The fact that gun control is rooted in racism is undeniable. I have enjoyed pointing that fact out to some of the anti-gun persuasion in the past. :)

Here's an article a friend wrote that goes into a bit of detail for those interested.
