None of the above because you didn't mention Milt Sparks, FIST, and many other fine holster makers.

I am GLAD you left out Crossbreed. The owner and their products both suck in a HUGE way. My Supertuck looked like a grade school arts and craft project and the kydex body promptly cracked right at the edges. Complete crap.

Don Hume for leather and Comp-Tac for kydex. However I don't have much other experience with other companies besides Uncle Mike's and Galco. Uncle Mike's isn't too impressive but Galco isn't bad.

All my favorites are """other""

In alphabetical order, since I couldn't rate any of these any better or worse than the others:

Bluegrass holsters

Crossbreed

Comp Tac

High Noon

Crossbreed and Comp Tac are cheaper, non-custom pieces that work great. Bluegrass and High Noon are amazing.

I don't really have a favorite holster maker, I have a favorite holster period. I've been carrying Bianchi Pistol Pockets for 25 yrs now. The rotating belt loop feature is tremendously versatile. The same holster can do strong side vertical, FBI cant, SOB, crossdraw, all at any angle that suits me. Good holsters.

There ya go - a consensus for 'other'. :p

My choice is Kramer in horsehide. Great appearance, great fit, great durability. They're worth the cost.

I last bought a new holster to replace one I lost in the WTC atacks on 9/11/2001. So it has been awhile, but that holster was a Bianchi. It was the exact same model as the one I was replacing that I had boguht about 15-20 years or so earlier. The quality was outstanding in the repacement holster, as good as the first one I had purchased all those years before. If that is not a sign of quality, I do not know what such a sign would be. Anything I have purchased from them has always been top notch.

All the best,
Glenn B
