OK, All I have to do is wake up the grey matter and remember how to do the pic thing again. But, I'll work on it right now.

This is like listening to an acceptance speech on the radio from the Grammys by some actor I've never heard of, who was in a movie that I never heard about. :)

Seriously. Read it again and tell me I'm wrong. :)

Warren,

Looks real good, you did well. Have shot it yet? I picked up an old Winchester model 60A at a show this weekend, not quite the one I wanted, but it's a nice little project and it will do for now. That was the pic I used for an example. Will look forward to your next project....:D

Loner, I picked up some subsonic 22 ammo today and I should be off to my mates property tomorrow to fire a few rounds and I hope it all goes well. The one thing I'm not sure of, is whether the rifle cocks when the bolt is closed or you have to pull back on the cocking piece to actually cock it. I'm off to another GunShow 2nd November so I will have to obtain a " permit to buy" some weeks before the show. We have to get a permit to buy then apply to register and can only take possesion of the weapon after all conditions have been met. It prevents that urge to buy then and there. The Dealers hate it and sales at Shows have fallen. Tough deal for the honest buyer.

Warren,

Yes, you have to pull the knob on the rear of the bolt back to cock the rifle. You can turn the knob so that the tab is up to put the safety on. good luck with your shoot.

I'm glad that we don't have those type of restrictions, and if I and people like me have anything to say about it, we never will. Only problem with that is I can make the rounds of the pawn shops an burn through more than a couple C-notes in one day.
