Do you feel blessed for owning the guns that you do?

Yes, I do. There are many others in the world who wish they had the ability to own what I so freely own.

God Bless America!

Blessed and fortunate that living in the greatest Country in the world and its citizens smart enough to elect the 'right party' so as the 2A and my 'happy that I can own guns' are not infringed!

IDK Andy C we kinda do have to ask big brother to own guns, and especially carry them via 'ccw permits' and background checks

No, they're things and I wouldn't apply that significance to them. I'm "blessed" I live in a country/state/locale that allows me to have the means to protect myself.

Yes, very. In many countries one cannot own a gun. In many countries, the standard of living makes the common person (like me) too poor to own a gun, let alone many. And in many countries that do allow guns with Western/modern economy, you can only have one or three or five total, or some such nonsense. Gawd bless America! I will mention this at the Thanksgiving dinner table to see what kind of reaction I get from extended family. They already think I'm nuts, so what the heck! :)

Yes. Though some might turn their nose at some of the firearms I have, (and I sheepishly admit I'm still covetous of more ) Why do I have such tools available, the freedom today to use them when so much of the world is not granted that privilege? Seriously. My life is not of greater value than the poor fellow abroad. I am, should, must, and will remain thankful. There are men and women in far, far worse situations daily that need these and yet can't or don't. Firearms are above all else weapons, range toys too, but weapons. It might not be in vogue to call them "weapons" but that's what they were primarily made to be.

While some of us snort at particular inferior makes and models, some peasant somewhere would count it the greatest privilege just to own a SNS. I am blessed not just with such resources but with outright luxuries.

I share the sentiments of the above posters. I also feel blessed that the first gun I purchased was manufactured under the most repressive regime in human history and it will never serve the pursposes of a dictatorial state.

I thank the Lord for a purpose in life and I thank the Founding Fathers for allowing me to legally own a gun.

So what does it mean for those Americans that cannot own a gun? HEATHENS?

Tpaw,

It is a good name! :)

Please tell her that this Catherine loves single action revolvers and lever action rifles!

Take care.

Yes!

My Grandfather's .32 Meridia refinished with a nickle satin finish

and

My Sig 556.

I am happy that I have the right to own protection. Especially for what might come for the future of America

Cool tread. I feel blessed to have been born and raised in the great United States of Free America. I feel threatened by the likes of politicians who confuse the Constitution as being a "living document". It compels me to bless them with early retirement. Afterall, they have "earned" it. Thereafter, I will return to feeling blessed. :D

Point well-made there - but compare that to those officials overseas who determine whether your reason to want to own a firearm is valid or not.

I've literally had one tell me that merely wanting a .45ACP pistol for self-defense in itself rendered the application invalid because 1) the bullet would blow a man back 12 feet and that was considered excessive force and 2) nobody can properly control a .45 :banghead:

Yes. But, I feel even more blessed that I live in a country(or small part of) where I don't NEED to use them to defend myself or my family every day.

WOW, excessive force... even a .50AE is not excessive force. lol, if you want to stop a threat, you are more likely to want to stop it dead on it's tracks than injured and fighting back.
