Bill Cosby also has a Phd. in Education, an EdD., I believe. Any body watch Bill Cosby and Robert Culp in "I Spy"?

I'm totally against celebrities' views on just about ANY subject being published and touted as any more important than any of our views.
Cosby does not say what he says is right because he says it. He gives reasoning and facts to support his point of view. Statements are true or false regardless who says them; being a celebratory does not make what Cosby says right or wrong. Either his reasoning/facts are correct or they are not. And I think he does know a little more than the red carpet. He did several other things in his life before he made it in show biz, including serving in the US Navy, going to collage on the GI bill, working a sting of day jobs while trying to get his stand-up act going in night clubs…

I still have a vinyl of one of his routines when he talks of his Dad threatening to get "The Belt" when he and his brother misbehaved.

"The Belt," according to the routine, was Twelve Feet Long, and Three Feet Wide, and had Hooks on the end To Tear The Flesh Off Your Body.

So all his father had to say when the kids were unruly was, "You kids stop that or I'm going to get... The Belt."

"...Oh... OK, Dad."

And his father never had to actually use it.

I still laugh when I think of that routine... and it is soooo politically incorrect nowadays.

The belt...

I have a clear, strong memory of the sound of a leather belt being whipped from belt loops. It does not bring good feelings.

Just because somebody has a CCP and/or packs a gun, doesn't make them an "RKBA supporter".

Sheesh, Chuckie Schumer has a CCP, and he's no friend of RKBA.

I've seen no credible evidence that Bill Cosby is an "RKBA supporter". Like many celebrities etc. who pack, he's most likely doing it strictly for his own self-protection, and really doesn't give a rip about the "common man" being able to own one.

Former "Hawaii Five-O" star Jack Lord packed, yet he was a strong advocate of gun control when it came to "commoners".

Former news columnist Carl Rowan was a rabid proponent of gun control for the "common folk", yet used an illegal handgun in Washington, D.C. to shoot an unarmed teenager who had sneaked onto his property and used his swimming pool.
