I need a .44 magnum....

I would love nothing more thank to have a M29. I do however love my 629 8 3/8" with a Bushnell elite 3200 on it. My brother love his Rugers though RedHawks and Blackhawks, and I can't blame him there super nice revolvers, so to each his own. But, YES everyone needs atleast one 44 mag!

It's an easy addiction. If I had only one gun, it would be my S&W 29 Special Hunter with the underlugged barrel and unfluted cylinder.

The 44 Magnum isn't the monster folklore makes it out to be. It's actually reasonably easy and accurate to shoot for trained and experienced shooters.

I'm kinda partial to the .454 Casull myself. My Dad carries a Taurus .44 Mag for his backup hunting, but there are a few times I sling my rifle and unlatch the Super Redhawk from the holster when I'm in thick brush. But if your are dead-set on the .44 Mag, the Super Redhawk is a very tough setup.
