Another new aquisition PICS

Here is the Remington 1100 I mentioned I was going to pick up in my other thread. It has a 30" trap barrel (mod choke) that has been honed smoother than a baby's behind, and had the Forcening cone lengthed. I just picked it up about an hour ago for $250!!!!!!!

It is in BEAUTIFUL shape. The wood is gorgeous!! (there are a few small dings in it) and the Blueing is 98%. So it has been a good week deal wise for me. First the mossberg, now this.

Then from the same guy I called my buddy to come pick up an ALMOST LNIB Remington 870 youth 20ga for his son for $150!! So like I said, GOOD WEEK!

I hope that you know the guy well who you bought these guns from. Deals like this usually come from one of two sources. Either the seller is woefully informed as to what the guns are really worth, or else the seller got a "five finger discount" when he acquired the guns (i.e. he stole them).

Don't misunderstand. I'm not accusing anyone of anything. I'm just saying that when a deal is too good to be true, then ................

Oh, one other thing made me suspicious. The 1100 has a TRAP barrel. The average Joe doesn't purchase a trap barrel unless he's pretty heavily into trap shooting. If he's heavily into trap shooting, he knows what guns are worth....... or at least what HIS guns are worth.

Just my 2 cents.

He is heavily into trap and skeet shooting. And I do know him VERY well. It was one of many shotguns that he has.
