It was a kitty. She looked very lonely all by hemself at the store...
So I decided that she could use a new home. :D

She's such a pretty kitty...

And she is very very light... only weighs 5.7lbs without a mag.

And like all good kitties, she came with her own place to sleep!

I like my new kitty, and cannot wait till Sunday so I can play with her at the range!

I might get one soon if I cannot find a handgun tomorrow at the gun shop then I might just drop $500 on a ar and pay the rest later

And she wasn't outrageously overpriced. Not quite Pre Obama prices... but nothing like I have seen for DPMS rifles.
Panther Lite!

Actually none of the prices at the gun shop were that bad. Its a place I've not been yet, but I plan on going back!

Firepower in Matthews NC
Didn't know you were a member here too Corey...

very nise ds.

i havent owned a dpms, but have seen them do well at the 100yd line.

owners of them seem to love them.

self appounted experts will suggest you could have done better, but let the rifle do the talking.

i bet you wont regret that stray cat.

Brand name Nazis beware... I doubt I could have done much better for the price.

The only plans for this one for now, is replacing the hand gaurds with the stock ones from my MP15, because they are slimmer and lighter.

That looks an aweful lot like the one that followed me home last month... mine is a lil different though, I have the standard stock instead of the adjustable... mine was $829 out the door... Cheers... they make great pets as long as you feed them right and give them a good bath after playing outside...

:D

I love to see people picking up strays!(More people should do it!)Nice find!!!!!

Come to think of it......I need to look harder!
Great pickup !

I truly was shocked to find a DPMS NIB at this price.
Oh, and if anyone is interested, I am considering selling my R15 VTR .223...

Range Report!
Well the weather was terrible today... almost didn't make it to the range.
There was a gun show today in Charlotte, so I picked up some new stuff, a Magpul stock... which I soon realized wouldn't fit the DPMS, but it did make a nice addition to the MP15. I did however find an A1/A2 front adjustment tool, thankfully. Also a castle nut tool and some ammo for the MP15. I added a single point sling to the DPMS and headed to the range!
It was rainy today and the mud was terrible, so I only worked out to 25 yards. That being said... I LOVE THIS RIFLE! Its very awesome. The lightweight package is wicked sweet, and it does not transfer the energy as much as you might think to my shoulder. I can't wait until Wednesday, when I can work out to 100 yards and get some pics!
