I love 'em. For a while after I retired I kept buying them, rebarreling and accurizing them, shooting them for a while then buying another one and do it all again.
I'm pretty sure I have eight of them right now, plus one receiver that I might build, and I've sold five of them usually losing the money I put in but don't really care. I gave one to a local club and sent another one to a group in Maryland that puts together donations to provide Garand rifles to badly wounded vets. I was just the other day trying to find the link to those folks because I wonder if they're still operating.
See that lowest one? That's about $300. in wood. The rifle is barreled with a 7.62 Fulton Armory, built fto be accurate as well as I can do it, and I've never fired it. Came out too pretty to take to the range and embarrasses me. The next two up are my shooting rifles, one .30-06 the other 7.62. At least with them it's the targets that get the attention.
