hey guys, ive been working on some loads for a while, and to much dismay, i was not able to get under an inch out of my AR. well, that plauges me no more. in my old mauser neither. heres some pics! (because most threads are worthless without pics, right?)

the first two are work up loads, and the last is a 5 shot group with winchester 55 ballistic tip varmite.

hopefully i can get them a little smaller, but i am pleased.
 
Good for you! Looks like the Winchester 55gr is a big winner in your rifle.

The first time I realized my AR was a winner shooting American Eagle no less:

Way to go! I can only think of one thing I would rather do than spend time at the range. Now at my increasing age I think the range is a much closer second. :D
 
Sierra 68gr BTHP do best in my 1/7 ar with 26.5 gr of varget.

Congratulations! I chuckle when my own groups begin to open. I know for fact that my rifles are consistent shooters...when the trigger-puller does his part. ;)

a side note: this is why i love this forum. not to mention any others, but this is the opnly forum i have been to in a while that dosent have guys hootin and hallering that they can do so much better, and this and that. i love this forum. great guys and gals that want to share this sport with many others. i just want to say THANK YOU.
