One of my passions is shooting bowling pin matches and I generally use one of my 1911s. With .45 ammo sometimes difficult to locate, I started looking for a .40 that would work well. Some time ago, I had a Para P16.40 Limited but it had the LDA trigger and frankly I could never get used to it.
Last week I scored a good one. It's a Para P16.40 Signature with the standard 1911 type of action. Took it to the range last night and fired a box thru it at 10 yards rapid fire. It kept everything in a fist-sized group dead center at POA. Our next match is in 2 weeks and I may just give this one a go.
I hate the junky plastic triggers Para uses so a new trigger group kit (trigger, hammer, strut, sear, disconnector, & springs) is on the way from Fusion right now...
