O.K., I guess I need some help here.

About a month ago I was talking to a friend of mine…who is an avid shooter.

I was complaining about the price of .458 SOCOM ammo.

He said I should start reloading for it, that it would cost much less that way. I told him that I didn’t know a person could actually make their own ammo.

He said, sure you can, its perfectly legal and not hard to do. He told me that basically you just buy all the components and “put them together”.

I bought all the stuff he said I would need (Brass, Bullets, Powder and Primers).

In the picture below you can’t see the powder or primers (they are off to the side), but you can see everything else. I put all these things together about a week ago and nothing has happened!

Should I wait longer? I am really anxious to see how they turn out.

After 3 days...I moved all the components closer together, but still nothing happened.

I've had them in the closet for the last 4 days (just checked on them this morning), but no progress.

This reloading thing is not turning out to be as simple as it sounds.

I guess I'll wait a little longer and see what happens. I didn't want to call my friend...just yet (Don't want to look stupid).

I think I see the problem. No powder! Without powder and primers for fertilizer, they can't possibly grow into loaded ammunition...........

Hope this helps.

Well if this isn't just about the silliest thing I've ever seen!
You have to mix'em up real good if you expect'em to grow! :banghead:

You forgot two ingredients. Fuel and ignition. Pour some gunpowder on, say maybe 1/2 pound. And since you can't buy any primers right now, light a match and throw it on the pile. Then you will have loaded your ammo!

Don't think that's the only load you'll have :D Better check your shorts after it grows

try putting the pointy side of the bullets up it works with growing my garlic I put the pointy side of them up to

Maybe you have all Female or all male components.

Even though they will mate, they never produce ammo. I have a set of components that live down the road a ways, never have I saw children there.

sprinkle with fairy dust, put on a pair of red slippers and tap your heels together three times.

Sure is a pretty pile, but they definitely need more encouragement on your end.

Similar results....

I had similar results one time when I tried to raise chickens.

They all died. Must have planted them too deep or maybe too close together. :D

I ran into problems trying to load wheel weight bullets. Maybe I could get some advice too.

Heat that sucker with your torch. It will be real easy to push in! :what:

There's nothing that a little fire won't help! It can also be used to fix stupid! :fire:

One of the funniest things I've read online yet!
