Where to buy Lead Cast Bullets

If you are having a problem with lube building up in your Seating die, it is probably causing a decrease in your OAL, a bad thing. Because of this problem, I like the Dillon Seating die in pistol calibers: it can be disassembled for cleaning withou losing your settings.

+1, it takes literally 2 seconds to pull the retaining pin and remove the die. I love my 550B.

For the record, the Hornady Nitride dies are the same. Pull the ring clip and the seating assembly drops right out. No worries about having to readjust after cleaning . . . at least when used in a LnL (Lock 'n Load bushings).

Schmeky, we are out of the IDP #2's but will run them tonight. Your order will ship tomorrow. Be sure to tune us in on the shopcam and watch us make them. Well, I say "us", but I really mean Robert the Night Caster, as I am totally worn out after a very tough day watching the day shift work. Man, those guys work so hard it they just exhaust me :)

Brad,

Absolutely no problem. A delayed order from you is still faster than anyone else!! Who else would take the time to let a pee-on like me know what's up with an order. Service, service, service!!!

You Da' man Brad:p

I have to clean my die with any bullet i use. It's a good habit to get into anyway.I just shot my first Missouri bullets yesterday I really like there 250 gr.pin-buster .452 bullet in my 1911 great fun.I checked out bear tooth they only had one 45acp bullet 225gr.I'll stick with Missouri.

Missouri Bullets is my favorite - really nice bullets.

I looked at the price on those Bearclaw - are they silver - 170 per K for 9mm - you gotta be kidding.

.$ .17 cents for a top of the line bullet is not out of line - heat treated to 22 BHN and can be driven to max velocity - includes gas check for most bullets. Their bullets are designed for hunting and self-defense - same type of bullet loaded by Buffalo Bore and Double Tap which is expensive ammunition. If you just shoot paper then Missouri Bullet product is great - if you hunt and get out in the "woods" then the better bullet is worth every penny especially if you encounter a bear. Their bullets are targeted mostly at revolvers at max velocity and not small caliber pistols where the Missouri bullet seems to be a better choice.

If I were hunting with a TC or looking for something to take down the rams, it may be a good deal. But...for a 9MM that's bit like using racing fuel in a Yaris.

I have to give a nod to MBC too. I have yet to have to wait more than three days for my order to arrive. I've heard that Dardas has good bullets and I ordered some, but they are experiencing shipping delays. It's a shame, it's only been just over a week since I ordered and I'm getting impatient. MBC has me spoiled.

Agree with TonyAngel,

I bought some Dardas about a year ago. They were excellent cast bullets and were extremely accurate. The only thing I did not care for was the delivery, which was 4 weeks. Not a problem at all, not a complaint, Dardas is great stuff.

But when you can have something on your door in 2-3 days, for less money (used the THR discount code on my last MBC order;) ), and the performance is not compromised. . . . . . . . . . .
