Would it be safe to use the lower end of jacketed bullet data and then reduce that by 10% for a lead bullet? Or is it possible to take the overall weight of a bullet in grains and divide it by the lower end of the number of grains of powder and then multiply it by the number of grains you need? For example, 5.8/200=.029*300=8.7 5.8 is the lower end of number of grains of TiteGroup for a 200g lead bullet. .029 is the amount of grain of powder per grains of lead. I need data for a 300g lead bullet so I then multiplied .029*300 to get 8.7 grains of TiteGroup. Or 6.4/200=.032*300=9.6 using 231.
What do you think?

Uhh....That's certainly funny math. Don't use it.

Just reduce your loads like you started out with. There should be load data for the 44 mag with 300 grain bullets somewhere online. Try a powder company or reloadersnest.com.

Be very careful when loading 300gr bullets in .44 mag not all load data is interchageable especially when dealing with the heavyweights. The amount of space taken up by the bullet in the case is a big factor. Load data for our 320gr. SSK bullet can not be used as its designed to take up no more space in the case than a standard 240 gr. bullet. Cross referance the overall length of the bullet you have to the one that you get data from and compare the amount of space taken up in the case. Heavyweight bullets can cause very high pressure spikes beyond SAMMI specs if not carefull. Stick with slower burning powders to handle the weight better than fast burners. The place you got the bullets from should have data for their bullet . Start there.

Hodgon has data for 325,330 and 355 grain on their WEB site.
They use Remington 2 1/2 primers witj their H110 loads. Is this a LP/LPM primer like Winchester's?

Info You Requested

Attached to this message you will find a generic list of all 44 Magnum loads that use 300gr bullets. I pulled the info from loaddata.com

I have found the website to be well worth the subscription price for the information that it provides
