What's the easiest firearm you've ever disassembled?

Old Noob, A Hi Point?

I enjoy my Hi Point(s) but you need tools to disasemble, I would think that rules them out of this conversation. It is also why I do not use my C9 for matches.

The easiest I've seen is the Sig 250. The thing is so modular it is really simple to detail strip. But I've never taken apart a 1911.

Revolver: hard to choose between SP101, GP100, and Blackhawk.
Semi-auto pistol: Glock or Makarov PM
Rifle: Mosin Nagant (except for those barrel band retaining springs in the stocks) or SKS.
Shotgun: Remington 870 (although the Mossberg isn't far off)

Easiest one over all though is a Pedersoli 'Kentucky' percussion pistol. Not really fear since it's just a single shot, but hey it goes boom and throws lead.

ps. I now see I've been suckered into posting in the same thread I posted in three years ago.

If we're talking a full disassembly (which from my understanding of the OP, we are), it has to be a 98k Mauser. In 10 minutes I can have one down to a pile of parts. Full bolt disassembly included.

On the AKM how would you release the trigger springs?
The AKM requires tools. I grab the shepards hooks spring for the trigger group pins with a needle nose. Probably could get it with a screw driver. You also need a screwdriver to get the stock and pistol grip off. You need a punch to get the extractor and firing pin.

I guess you could do the whole rifle with the parts in the cleaning kit if you had a hammer or hammer-like instrument. The rear sight would be the hardest part to remove in the field though.

Required assembly at the factory - it had to be that easy

Without a doubt, the M1 carbine. I can't do it blindfolded yet though :D
