Took two weeks, but ultimately it was worth the wait and more than worth the $1400 if only for the quality of fit, finish and ballance. I'm going to try to shoot it this weekend and see how well I can get it to shoot. The test target measures well under .05" C-C. I understand it was shot at about 50 yards in a test tunnel off sandbags. Thats impresive to me, even if all I can do is quadruple that. I put Pride-Fowler 3-9x on top. I thought I missed the boat because I couldn't find one anywhere after Midway discontinued them. Safariland now is marketing them and the price is real good. So far I'm fairly impress with the overall quallity of the scope. Only draback is that magazines are expensive ($60-70) and the Savage mags from Brownells need to be filed to fit and then they don't fit 100% right. Maybe there is an Anschutz owner out there that bought way too many magazines and wants to part with a few used ones...

Years ago I bought a couple of those cheap Savage mags that fit numerous models and they work in my Model 57 Custom Classic .22.

Great rifles.

Nice rifle!

Probably a bunch of them in the "lost and found" at the Olympics...:D They might have a little surface rust from lying in the snow.

Try ChampionShooters, they have them and they dont run $70.

I have Anschutz's and Coopers and swap the mags in them.
